This page explains how to request deletion of personal information held by Amplor (operated by JCR IT Services Pty Ltd, trading as JCR Computers). It satisfies Meta's Platform Terms requirement that every connected app provide an accessible data deletion URL, and our broader obligations under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
If you are an Operator (you signed up for Amplor)
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time:
- From the dashboard at
app.amplor.io, go to Settings → Billing and click Cancel subscription, then Delete account. - Or email privacy@amplor.io from the address registered to your account.
We will delete all account data within 30 days of confirming the request, except for:
- Records we are legally required to retain (tax records, audit trails) — kept for the legally required period and then deleted.
- Backups, which are overwritten on a 30-day rolling cycle.
If you are a Contact (a customer of an Amplor Operator)
Most likely the business you have been talking to is the Operator who controls your data. We process that data on their behalf as their service provider.
First step: contact the business directly and ask them to delete your records. They have full self-service controls in the Amplor dashboard and can delete a contact in seconds.
If the business is unresponsive, or you would prefer to request deletion directly from us, email privacy@amplor.io with:
- Your full name (as it appears in messages, if you know).
- The email address, phone number, or social media handle you used to contact the business.
- The name of the business you contacted (this is the Operator who controls the data).
We will verify the request, contact the Operator, and arrange deletion within 30 days. We will let you know when it is complete.
If you connected a Meta account (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp)
If you connected your Facebook, Instagram, or WhatsApp account to Amplor as part of an Operator's setup and want to revoke that connection and delete the data we received via Meta:
- Visit Facebook Business Integrations (Settings → Business Integrations).
- Find Amplor in the list and click Remove.
- Confirm by emailing privacy@amplor.io with the subject "Meta data deletion" and the email address used for the connection.
We will delete the message history, profile data, and access tokens received from Meta for that connection within 30 days and confirm by email when complete.
What gets deleted
- Conversation messages and attachments.
- Contact identifiers (email, phone, social handles, profile photos).
- AI-generated tags, summaries, and inferred data attributable to the contact.
- OAuth tokens and connection metadata for the relevant third-party platforms.
- Any uploaded files associated with the request (CSVs, attachments).
Anonymised aggregate metrics (for example, "received 412 messages last month") are retained but contain no personal information after deletion.
Confirmation code
On request, we provide a confirmation code with the deletion completion email that can be presented to Meta or other platforms as proof that we have removed the requested data. The format is amplor-deletion-<tenant>-<hash>.
